Darlene Septelka is the Director of Integrated Services in the Seattle office. With over 35 years of owner and project management experience, Darlene brings a diverse background of services and project types to Landon. Prior to joining Landon, Darlene was the King County Senior Construction Manager for the Brightwater Treatment Plant Project and spent 12 years with the Boeing Company managing design and construction on a variety of projects. She has successfully managed over 100 design and construction projects and has expertise in owner management of traditional and alternative project delivery methods.

Darlene is an appointed member of the Washington State CPARB Project Review Committee. She is the founding and past Vice-President of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) Northwest Chapter and a Designated Design-Build Professional. Darlene is a skilled speaker with over 50 national and international professional presentations on integrated project delivery methods and has taught graduate and undergraduate design and construction project management courses at University of Washington, Washington State University, and California Polytechnic State University.

Away from work Darlene enjoys salty water fishing and telemark skiing. She also enjoys historical construction research. Ask her who was the first women “design-builder” in the northwest? Hint her statue represents Washington State in the National Hall of Columns in the Capital Complex.
